Comprehensive apprenticeship development programs for new and existing leaders of all levels

The past couple of years have been a challenging time for everyone and we at Helander wanted to inspire and offer our employees the chance to develop their skills within a structured development framework with a nationally recognised qualification at the end of it.
Through our local training provider GEL, we identified four leadership programs that develop critical thinking skills, drive innovation, creativity, and improved productivity in leaders at all levels in the business. This allows the space and time for our employees to try something new through re-modelling, re-engineering, expanding their knowledge or just doing things differently.
Each apprenticeship is aligned to national standards and qualifications and have the rigour of independent assessment to ensure effective learning takes place. The coursework is structured in predefined modules but also provides scope to introduce work-based projects closely relating to the employee’s everyday work. This allows apprentices to showcase their hard work and demonstrate the increased skills and knowledge learnt.
Monthly mentoring sessions with HR ensure the apprentices are on-track and are getting the most out of their learning experience.
This aligns perfectly with our ethos of a Learning Organisation and in turn, will benefit Helander build a stronger team with focus towards continuous improvement opportunities, business productivity and growth. A win-win scenario for all concerned.
