Larger CMM machine to support the investment with larger work centres

Mitutoyo Crysta-Apex

Helander have recently installed a Mitutoyo Crysta-Apex Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) with an impressive 900 x 1600 x 800mm measurement range. The Machine is designed and constructed using Mitutoyo’s experience in CNC CMM technology using lightweight materials and an innovative moving-bridge type machine structure providing high motion stability and high accuracy. The temperature correction function (16 °C to 26 °C) can yield accurate measurements even on the shop floor.

The CMM will enable improvement with the inspection of large components reducing lead times and programme efficiencies whilst maintaining the accuracy demanded by Helander customers.
